Welcome

People come to counseling from a variety of backgrounds and for several different reasons. There is no stereotype. Some struggle with the pains from their past being brought into their present, some battle mental distress for reasons unknown to them, others relational issues and challenges. Each person seeking a deeper understanding of self as well as a desire to become a better version of themselves is on the journey. This journey requires going to unknown places within to better understand the core issues. Considering counseling is a big step.  During our initial phone contact, I will try to answer any questions you have about the process.  From there, with your best interests in mind, you and I will make a decision as to whether or not to proceed.

How do I free myself from the pain of my past?

What are the root issues?

How do I forgive someone (myself)?

What career is right for me? What passions and gifts do I have?

Does God really love me and care about the details of my life?

How can I learn to trust myself as well as others especially when trust has been broken?

My marriage is okay, but how can I make it stronger?

How do I get my kids to behave? How do I become a better parent, especially with particularly challenging children?

Why am I so anxious (depressed) regularly?

Will I ever feel better?
